Air ambulances are accompanied by medical personnel that includes registered nurses. Often a nurse that is trained and accredited with a certification in flight physiology will accompany a patient on a medical transport. Nurses have to obtain a set amount of years of experience in their department before becoming a flight nurse. Some nurses are trained in various specializations, such being a respiratory therapist - along with their nursing degree.
We provide a private air ambulance equipped with a mix of an intensive care unit and a critical care unit along with a registered nurse with flight training. Other personnel might include a physician, a paramedic, and/or a respiratory therapist.
