The act passed in 1990 that is known as the Repatriation Act relates to the cultural heritage being returned to Native Americans in the United States. There are items such as human remains, sacred objects, historical objects that, according to the Repatration Act, need to be returned to their homeland. Air Ambulance services provide for the transport of the ill and also for the deceased to be returned to their homeland. This specialized transportation is done all over the United States and Worldwide. Moreover, much of this type of work for specialized air charter companies tends to be concentrated in certain parts of the country. This includes Texas and New Mexico, among others. Since the Repatration Act has been passed, much effort has been put towards the rightful replacement of these items for Native Americans. Families and Museums have benefitted from the Repatration Act.
